Kyrgyz Finance Minister and ADB Vice President of ADB discussed priority areas of cooperation
Bishkek, January 17/ Kabar /. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Shiaoyu Zhao.
According to the information of the press service of the Ministry of Finance, the purpose of the official visit of S. Zhao is to discuss short- term and long-term development of the republic, determining priorities of cooperation of the Kyrgyz Republic and ADB, as well as regional development.
The minister briefed about the situation in the country and about the results of 2011. A. Japarov told that in the coming years, the work of the Government of the KR will be aimed at strengthening the foundations of statehood, to restore and strengthen a healthy investment climate, increase of wealth of citizens, carrying out economic and social reforms.
In turn, S. Zhao stressed active participation of Kyrgyzstan in regional cooperation, including CAREC.
The sides noted good cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and ADB in implementing projects and programs financed by the bank.
