Kyrgyz Government plans to sign agreement with China on construction of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway in 2012

Bishkek, January 30/ Kabar /. In 2012, the Kyrgyz Government plans to sign an agreement with China to build China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway. Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov told at a meeting with representatives of leading mass media of Kyrgyzstan.

According to his words, this is one of the big projects planned for this year. "The cost of the first phase of construction is $ 2.5 billion, the cost of the second phase is $ 2 billion, which will connect the north and south of the country. The total project cost is estimated at 4.5 billion", said Prime Minister.
