World major telecommunication company TeliaSonera is ready to invest in Kyrgyz economy
Bishkek, February 1 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov received delegation of the world major telecommunication company TeliaSonera headed by its President Lars Gunnar Nyrberg.
The information policy department of the Kyrgyz Government reports that, during the meeting Lars Gunnar Nyrberg informed the Kyrgyz Prime Minister about TeliaSonera and also expressed its interest in investing in the Kyrgyz economy, particularly in the field of telecommunications.
O. Babanov noted that Kyrgyzstan welcomes investors who wish to enter the market of the country. "Kyrgyzstan is open for investors. We have created good conditions for investing. The government guarantees the transparency of tendering", the Prime Minister said.
TeliaSonera is one of the largest companies in the telecommunications market. 51% of the share capital owned by the Governments of Sweden and Finland.
