Prices on all types of fuel dropped in Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek, February 10/ Kabar /. Prices on all types of petroleum products has dropped in Kyrgyzstan. President of the Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan Jumakadyr Akeneyev told the correspondent of the Kabar Agency.
According to his information, last week the price of high-octane gasoline and diesel fuel reduced in all petrol stations of the republic, except some private stations. "In the near future increase in fuel prices is not expected", said the head of the Association.
J. Akeneyev stressed that Kyrgyzstan did the right thing by deciding to deliver the entire amount of petroleum products from Russia. "At the present time in Russia the price of oil products have been frozen till the presidential elections. But, I do not believe that after March 4, the price will rise", he added.
According to data of the northern regional department of the Ministry of Economy and Antimonopoly Policy, during the period from January 31 to February 7 the price of winter diesel rose by almost 10%.
At the beginning of this year, Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement on duty-free supply of fuel from Russia in the amount of one million tons.
