In 2011 Kyrgyzstan generated nearly 15 bln kW / hours of electricity
Bishkek, February 10/ Kabar /. 14 billion 957.2 million kW / h of electricity has been generated in Kyrgyzstan. State secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Industry Batyrkul Baetov told today in Bishkek at the national training seminar for newly elected heads of regional state administrations.
He said that compared to 2012 electricity generation increased by 26.1%. "All the hydro power stations of the republic worked at maximum power", added the state secretary.
B. Baetov added that last year Kyrgyzstan exported to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan 2.6 billion kW / h of electricity.
