The total amount of financial assistance provided by ADB to Kyrgyzstan made over $ 1 billion
Bishkek, April 26 / Kabar /. The total amount of financial assistance provided by the Asian Development Bank to Kyrgyzstan in 12 years makes more than one billion dollars. The press service of the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan reports.
According to the information of the Ministry of Finance, the bank approved 31 loans amounting to 786.2 million dollars, 12 grants for 255.3 million dollars.
ADB's financial assistance is distributed in all major sectors in accordance with the strategic directions of development of the country. In particular, ADB's assistance is directed to support priorities in development of transport, energy infrastructure, improvement of state economic management, education sector, urban and rural infrastructure.
Kyrgyzstan has been cooperating with the ADB since 1994.
