Atambaev: "I am glad that Toyota Motor Corporation opens its representation in Kyrgyzstan"
Bishkek, April 26 / Kabar /. Today President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev received the Japanese delegation, headed by general manager of Toyota Motor Corporation for Europe Masato Hoth. The meeting was also attended by Japanese Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Sin Maruo, Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reports.
During the meeting the Kyrgyz President noted the importance and timeliness of opening of representation of the largest famous automobile Toyota Motor Corporation in Kyrgyzstan, which will contribute to development of bilateral trade and economic and investment ties. "I am glad that the representation of such a famous company opened in Kyrgyzstan. I hope this is just the first step and in future not only the sales office, but also venture to assemble vehicles will be open in Kyrgyzstan. For that, we have all conditions, including a powerful human resources", said A. Atambaev.
The President stressed that the Kyrgyz side is interested in wide presence of Japanese business in Kyrgyzstan, attracting its capital to the country with access to mutually beneficial projects in the field of transport and communications, mining and processing industry, energy, tourism and agriculture.
In this regard, A. Atambaev assured readiness of the Kyrgyz side to provide the Japanese investors with favorable conditions for long-term projects. "I am grateful that you believe in Kyrgyzstan. We are building a democratic, attractive country for investments", said the President.
