A number of agreements reached during a meeting of Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission in Bishkek
Bishkek, April 27 / Kabar /. A number of agreements are reached on the results of the 14th session of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation in Bishkek.
In particular, the sides decided to intensify cooperation in oil and gas industry, to speed up approval of projects and agreements on construction of Kambar-Ata hydroelectric power station and upper Naryn cascade of hydropower station. And also to continue the work of Kyrgyz-Russian working group to discuss the problematic issues that have arisen in implementation of agreements between governments of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, the employment and social protection of migrant workers, to increase interaction between the "Bishkek Machinery Plant" JSC, "Bishkek stamping plant" state enterprise, specialized organizations and enterprises of Russia.
Besides, "Electrical stations" jointly with "Inter ROA UES" agreed to consider the supply of electricity supply in 2012 from Kyrgyzstan to Russia.
The Commission noted that one of the most promising areas of cooperation is the participation of Russian companies in development and modernization of general resource base and mining industry of Kyrgyzstan.
