Astana, May 10 / Kabar /. Last year trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan reached 750 million U.S. dollars. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said today at a press conference after the Kyrgyz-Kazakh talks.
He noted that this figure compared to 2010 increased by 27%. "We have a task to bring the volume of trade between the two countries to the billion. Besides, Kazakh investments into the Kyrgyz economy amounted to $ 1 billion and it is not the limit", said the Kazakh President.
Nazarbayev also said that Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan intend to intensify cooperation in energy, agriculture, transport and communications, mining and tourism.
