Ministry of Economy of the KR is considering to impose a ban on export of cement

Bishkek, May 28 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan considers to impose a ban on export of cement. Minister of Economy and Antimonopoly Policy of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev told journalists at the Kabar Agency.

According to his words, with the beginning of construction season currently deficit of cement observed in the country’s market, which brought to rise in prices for this product. “We are taking steps to solve this problem, in particular, considering the possibility to expose a ban on export of cement. We also will be happy for all suppliers who are ready to import this building material to Kyrgyzstan. After all, we have no duties on import of cement into the country", he added.
