Kyrgyzstan and China signed memorandum on mutual cooperation in construction of Kara-Balta refinery
Beijing, June 6 / Kabar /. The official ceremony of signing the memorandum on mutual cooperation in construction in Kara-Balta a refinery between the Ministry of Economy and Antimonopoly Policy in Kyrgyzstan and Chinese Central Asian Energy Company is held today in Beijing.
Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev noted that Kyrgyzstan is interested in this project.
According to a Chinese company, by the end of this year, the refinery will process 20 thousand tons of oil and in 2013 after full launching of the plant – 800 thousand tons.
