Bishkek, June 13 / Kabar /. In 2011 the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and India totaled $ 27 million. Head of the Eurasian department of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Azhay Bishariya told today at the opening of a meeting in Bishkek of the Discover Asia Initiative of the International Public Foundation "Initiatives of Roza Otunbaeva".
He said that, such a low level is associated with the absence, both air and land communication between the two states. "Kyrgyzstan is dominated by products from Turkey, although it is far away than India", he said.
A. Bishariya noted that at the present time Kyrgyzstan and India are working on development of cooperation in the field of innovative technologies.
