Sadyr Zhaparov: Kyrgyzstan received 44.3 million dollars since development of Kumtor
Bishkek, June 20 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan received 44 million 360 thousand dollars since development of the Kumtor gold mine, Sadyr Zhaparov, head of the deputy commission on Kumtor, told during a session of the parliament.
According to S.Zhaparov, it was produced 260 tonnes 700 kg of gold since the mine has been developed. “258 tonnes of gold were exported and sold. And Kyrgyzstan received only 1 tonnes 400 kg of gold”, - said S.Zhaparov.
He told that Kumtor paid Kyrgyzstan 6 million dollars in 2001, over 30 million dollars in 2011.
