Kyrgyzstan’s government intends to increase pensions in autumn 2012

Naryn, June 21 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s government intends to increase pensions in autumn 2012. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov told it during a meeting with people of the Ak-Talaa region of the Naryn oblast.

“There are 550 thousand pensioners in the country. Some of them receive by 50 thousand soms, and the others – 1.5 thousand soms. This is not good”, - said the PM.

O.Babanov told people about the government’s achievements, particularly, opening of a state development bank.

According to him, Turkey allocates 106 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan. Some $100 million is in credit and $6 million as a grant. “If the Jogorku Kenesh will ratify this agreement than $50 million would be spent for construction of irrigation systems, $20 million for construction of new schools”, - said the PM.
O.Babanov told the country’s budget received additional 4 billion soms on the results of five months.

Emergency situations minister Kubatbek Boronov, deputy finance minister Melis Attokurov, deputy minister of education and science Muhtar Orozbekov and governors of seven oblasts also participated in the meeting. The governors have arrived in the Naryn oblast to exchange work experience.
