Minister of Economy of the KR offers to set up a National Council on Sustainable Development headed by President of the country
Bishkek, July 12 / Kabar /. Minister of Economy and Antimonopoly Policy of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev proposes to create a National Council for Sustainable Development at the head of President of the country. He expressed such an opinion at the meeting with UNDP Permanent Representative in the KR Alexander Avanesov, with whom he discussed issues of long-term sustainable development strategy - 2020 on the results of the Rio +20 world conference on green economy.
The Minister noted the need to lay mechanisms for long-term strategy for sustainable development - 2020, with the help of which economic growth will increase every year. He considers that it is necessary to conduct a thorough analysis, the study carried out with the assistance of highly skilled foreign professionals. In this regard, he instructed his staff to prepare an analytical report to the President of the KR to create a National Council for Sustainable Development.
