Kyrgyzstan and India expand cooperation in agriculture
Bishkek, July 18 / Kabar /. Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan Askarbek Janybekov met with Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan Funchok Stobdan.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the KR, during the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and potato processing plant operating in Talas oblast.
The Ambassador said that, the plant construction is completed and by September the plant can receive potato crop of 2012 for processing.
In turn, the Minister asked F. Stobdan to support training of personnel to work in the factory and in the whole agricultural sector, particularly in animal husbandry, veterinary medicine.
The parties also agreed to supply to Kyrgyzstan veterinary drugs and to cooperate in the field of felt production.
