Minister of Health will take part in UN High Level Meeting on AIDS
Bishkek, June 8 /Kabar/. Health Minister of
Kyrgyzstan Sabyrbek Jumabekov will take part in UN High Level meeting on HIV /
AIDS in New York on June 8-10. The press service of the Ministry of Health
reports.
More than 3,000 people will come together at the United Nations Headquarters in New York for the UN General Assembly high level Meeting on AIDS, which will provide an opportunity to assess the progress and examine the challenges of the last 30 years in the global fight against AIDS.
The high level meeting will bring together international organizations, civil society, people living with HIV and public and private sector partners from Wednesday through Friday.
At the meeting S. Jumabekov will report on progress in implementing provisions of Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS in Kyrgyzstan.
