268 HIV-infected children registered in Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek, November 17 / Kabar /. 268 HIV-infected children are registered in Kyrgyzstan, 180 of them are infected in hospitals. Deputy Health Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kasymbek Mambetov told today at a press conference at the Kabar Agency.
He said that all the facts are under investigation. "We are interested to prevent facts of infecting in hospitals, so we do not hide anything. Unfortunately, such facts continue to take place. During this year there were 11 cases of HIV-infected children. I agree that this is a terrible diagnosis, it is even a kind of sentence. But in any case, I can not give it a moral evaluation or judge someone, it is the responsibility of the court, " said the deputy minister.
