Three hospitals will be built in southern Kyrgyzstan for funds of IDA
Bishkek, March 5 / Kabar /. Parliamentary committee for international affairs approved the ratification of the agreement "On the second additional financing of the Health Care and Social Security Project between Kyrgyzstan and the International Development Association", signed November 22, 2011 in Bishkek. The parliamentary press service reports.
According to information of Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Dinara Saginbaeva, Kyrgyzstan will receive the second additional funding for the Health Care and Social Protection Project in the amount of $ 24 million.
Within the framework of the agreement three maternity hospitals is planned to be built in Jalalabad, Osh and Batken oblasts and equipped with modern equipment. In addition, some funds will be directed to provide women and children among the vulnerable groups with mineral and vitamin supplements, as well as to conduct pilot activities on mental health.
