In 2011 crimes related to drugs increased In Kyrgyzstan by 24.6% - Prosecutor General
Bishkek, March 27 / Kabar /. In 2011 crimes related to drugs in Kyrgyzstan increased by 24.6%. Aida Salyanova, Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic told today at a meeting of the Parliament’s Committee on the rule of law, order and crime control.
According to her data, 1 thousand 543 crimes were registered in 2010 in the country related to drugs, and in 2011 this figure amounted to 1thousand 924.
"The rise in crime rates associated with drug trafficking, sale and storage, especially observed in Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts", the Prosecutor General said.
