Aida Salyanova: Political will is needed for extradition of ex-President Kurmanbek Bakiyev
Bishkek, March 27 / Kabar /. "Political will is needed in order to extradite ex-president Kurmanbek Bakiyev to Kyrgyzstan", Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Aida Salyanova said today at the parliamentary committee on legality, law and order and crime control.
"We have repeatedly reported that to solve this issue a political will is required, but, the Belarus side does not have such will", said A. Salyanova.
She said that the Belarus side explained refusal to extradite Kurmanbek Bakiyev by the fact that the prosecution of the ex-president is politically motivated.
Today at the Jogorku Kenesh’s committee on legality, law and order and crime control MPs listen to annual report of the Prosecutor General.
