N. Tuleyev is ready to cooperate with investigators and even finance their trip to China
Bishkek, June 25 / Kabar /. Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Nariman Tuleyev is ready to cooperate with the investigation and pay a trip of investigators to China. The suspect's lawyer Sultan Baratov told reporters.
The lawyer said that N. Tuleyev wants to prove that he is innocent. "For this he is ready to finance a trip of investigators to China, in order to they could see all the circumstances of the case, manufacture of buses, with their real value and cost of delivery to Kyrgyzstan to investigate the criminal case", said the lawyer S. Baratov.
The former Mayor of Bishkek city n. Tuleyev was detained on June 23, 2012 by National Security Committee officers and was placed in police detention center in Bishkek for 48 hours. Today the Pervomaisky district court of Bishkek city took a decision to keep N. Tuleyev in custody till August 21 in investigatory isolation ward of the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
He is guilty in corruption on the fact of illegal actions in preparation, signing and execution of contracts with Chinese companies in purchasing buses for municipal transport in Bishkek in 2008 being the Bishkek Mayor .
