President of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan resigned
Bishkek, April 11 / Kabar /. President of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan Sharip Jorobekova resigned. The press service of the National Academy of Sciences reports.
"Today, at an extraordinary session Sh. Jorobekova officially will announce her resignation and talk about the reasons for her resignation", the press service says.
According to data of the National Academy of Sciences, Sh. Jorobekova is the second woman to head the Academy of Sciences, the first was Ekaterina Dashkova, who headed the Academy of Sciences in the 18th century.
