Kyrgyzstan in 2012 will chair the OSCE Forum for Security

Bishkek, December 8 / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan will chair the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation starting from January 1, 2012. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Dinara Kemelova told during her speech at a plenary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of OSCE member states in Vilnius, Lithuania. 
During her speech D. Kemelova briefed the participants of the meeting about place in the country of democratic reforms and highlighted various aspects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the OSCE.
In particular, the Deputy Minister emphasized transparency and openness of the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan and noted the critical importance of peaceful transfer of power in Kyrgyzstan on its new course of democratic development. She also noted the importance of building trust between OSCE participating states, which is one of the foundations of security. She also said that Kyrgyzstan will chair OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation starting from January 1, 2012.
Within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council D. Kemelova held bilateral meetings with the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights J. Lenarcic, the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Pierre Morel, the State Minister of Great Britain L. Lewington, during which they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and interaction between the OSCE and the EU.
