Honorary Consulate of Poland to be open in Bishkek in spring of 2012

Bishkek, December 12 / Kabar /. Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland will be opened in Bishkek in 2012. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Jacek Kluczkowski said on Saturday at a press conference devoted to the evening of Kyrgyz -Polish business.
"A few weeks ago we got agreement of the Kyrgyz side for opening of the consulate. We would like to open the Consulate to the 20th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Polish relations. This date is the symbol of beginning of bilateral relations of Kyrgyzstan and Poland", said the diplomat.
He said that, the consulate will be opened in February or March of the next year. "Honorary Consulate of Poland will not be just a typical diplomatic organization. Its objective will be to support economic relations, assistance in establishing business contacts between our countries, as well as development of regional ties between the Polish provinces and regions in Kyrgyzstan.
