Kyrgyz President and the German Ambassador discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation
Bishkek, March 29/ Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev received today Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Gudrun Srega.
Opening the meeting, the President congratulated the Ambassador and the German people on election of new President of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The sides noted that favorable conditions were created over 20 years of cooperation between the two countries for deepening and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation in many specific areas. Head of the state called for intensification of relations. "I believe that relations between our two countries should reach a new level and develop more dynamically", said A. Atambaev.
He noted that Kyrgyzstan is ready to consider projects with investors from different countries. "I think that German businessmen are interested in investment projects in Kyrgyzstan. Our country can be a good platform for implementation of economic projects", said the President.
During the talks the sides exchanged views on the prospects of Kyrgyz -German dialogue and confirmed their interest in deepening political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
