SCO supreme courts' presidents hold conference in Beijing
Bishkek, April 26 / Kabar /. The 7th conference of the presidents of the supreme courts of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) closed in Beijing, capital of China.
China's Chief Justice, Supreme People's Court Wang Shengjun said at closing ceremony that this meeting served to bring the pragmatic cooperation of the SCO member states in the judicial field to a new level.
During the conference, delegates exchanged opinions on deepening judicial reform, the Supreme Court of the functions of positioning, the three topics of in-depth exchange of criminal proceedings in terms of configuration and co-operation of the courts and the media, on how to further expand the scope of judicial exchanges and cooperation, improve the judicial exchanges and cooperation mechanism.
On the result of the conference the Joint Declaration was adopted.
Chief justices from Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the conference.
