Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad to visit Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek, May 2 / Kabar /. Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad will visit Kyrgyzstan in autumn. Kyrgyz Ambassador to Malaysia and Indonesia Askar Beshimov told reports.
He said that the visit of the guest is scheduled for September 9-12 of this year. "We are trying to give a new level of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia. In 1996-1998, a group of businessmen headed by leaders of this state has visited our republic and made plans for development of bilateral cooperation. However, for some reason the cooperation did not take place", said A. Beshimov.
He noted that the visit of the former Prime Minister of Malaysia will raise cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
