Kyrgyz President received the Japanese economic delegation
Bishkek, May 4 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev received the Japanese economic delegation, the Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reports.
The President noted the importance and timeliness of this visit to Kyrgyzstan, aimed to stimulate trade-economic and investment ties and contribute to further strengthening bilateral relations.
President Atambaev expressed confidence that the signed agreements will promote active cooperation between the two countries.
Thus, in the framework of the visit of the Japanese delegation a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of energy saving between the Ministry of Energy of the KR and the Japanese Organization «NEDO» and the Memorandum on cooperation in the mining industry between the Institute of Geology of the National Academy of Sciences and the Japanese corporation «JOGMEC» are expected to be signed.
The President welcomed the emerging interest of the largest Japanese companies to invest in Kyrgyzstan and its economy. "The official opening of "Toyota Motor" in Bishkek is a kind of example for many Japanese companies. And we hope for real presence of Japanese businesses in Kyrgyzstan", said A. Atambaev.
In conclusion, the President once again expressed his appreciation for the interest to the Kyrgyz Republic and called for active cooperation. "Let Japan has always flourished and let us strengthen our friendship", said A. Atambaev.
