A.Jeeenbekov: "Jogorku Kenesh will make all efforts to strengthen Kyrgyz-Russian relations"
Bishkek, May 17 / Kabar /. Jogorku Kenesh will make all efforts to strengthen the Kyrgyz-Russian relations. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Asylbek Jeenbekov told during a meeting with chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
According to the information of the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, the meeting took place on Wednesday, May 16 during A. Jeenbekov’s visit to St. Petersburg. At the meeting they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.
A.Jeenbekov stressed that Russia is a strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan. "Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to cooperation with Russia. The Parliament will make all efforts to strengthen bilateral relations", he added.
Sergei Naryshkin said that Russia appreciates cooperation between countries and intends to deepen bilateral relations.
During the conversation A. Jeenbekov focused the attention of his colleague on issues of Kyrgyz labor migrants in Russia and offered to consider simplifying the procedure of their stay in Russia.
The Kyrgyz Speaker invited S. Naryshkin to visit Kyrgyzstan at a convenient time.
