President Atambaev discussed with the WB delegation further cooperation
Bishkek, May 17 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev received today the World Bank delegation headed by Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Philippe Le Houerou. The Department of Information Policy of the Kyrgyz President’s Office reports.
The President welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude to the World Bank for supporting the processes of the major sectors of economy of Kyrgyzstan. "The World Bank helped us and continues to help Kyrgyzstan. I hope that we will continue fruitful cooperation further", said A. Atambaev.
The President also noted that during the years of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank favorable conditions were created for deepening mutually beneficial partnership in many areas.
Philippe Le Houerou noted the positive developments in the country and assured that the World Bank will continue to provide support. "We see that the fight against corruption is one of your priorities and we will continue to support efforts in this direction", assured the WB Vice President.
