President Atambaev and ADB delegation discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation
Bishkek, May 18 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev received a delegation of the Asian Development Bank headed by Lakshmi Venkatachalam, ADB Vice President of Private Sector and Cofinancing Operations.
The President expressed gratitude to the Asian Development Bank for support in important areas of development of the country, the Department of Information Policy of the Kyrgyz President’s Office reports.
Atambaev also noted that the ADB has rendered much aid in reconstruction of the southern regions of the country affected by the tragic events of 2010.
The President assured that Kyrgyzstan is determined to conduct radical reforms within the framework of investment climate improving program, which has been funding by ADB since 2008.
During the meeting the sides discussed promising directions for further partnerships.
