R.Otunbaeva receives special envoy of the NATO Secretary General Robert Simmons
KABAR, June 10. The Kyrgyz interim government’s head Roza Otunbaeva received special envoy of the NATO Secretary General for the Caucasus and Central Asia Robert F. Simmons.
R.Otunbaeva informed about reasons and consequences of the April events, about current public and political situation and socio-economic situation in the country, measures on conducting the referendum and preparation for the parliamentary elections.
Issues of cooperation in the field of providing public security and strengthening the role of law-enforcement structures were discussed at the meeting.
