Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay establish diplomatic relations
Bishkek, May 24 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay establish diplomatic relations. The joint communique on establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries is signed yesterday in New York City by the Permanent Representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay to the United Nations Talaibek Kydyr ov and José Antonio Dos Santos.
The document notes that Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay, desiring to promote mutual understanding and strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries, guided by the principles and objectives of the UN Charter and international law, decided to establish diplomatic relations in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1961, Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963 and based on the principles of the UN Charter.
After the signing ceremony, the Permanent Representatives noted that the establishment of diplomatic relations is an important step for further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation between countries as well as cooperation within the UN and other international organizations.
