13 items are on the agenda of a session of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council
Astana, July 2 / Kabar /. Today, July 2, the 3rd session of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council, chaired by Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov and of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov has started in Astana. The agenda of the session includes 13 items.
In particular, the sides plan to discuss implementation of Protocol of the 2nd session of the Intergovernmental Council held on September 16, 2011, cooperation in trade, investment and finance. They will also touch upon the intergovernmental agreement on measures to resolve the trade-economic cooperation in export of certain goods, restrictions imposed by Kyrgyzstan on import of flour from Kazakhstan, on protective measures regarding import of Kazakh confectionery, a Kazakh-Kyrgyz Investment Fund, on liquidation of “The Central Asian Bank for Cooperation and Development”, cooperation of customs services, on cooperation in industry, water and energy sector, agriculture, environmental protection, prevention and elimination of emergency situations. In addition, the issues of migration, relations in the sphere of tourism, border control, gas supply, transport, supply of chemical concentrates of natural uranium, shipping and transportation of Kazakh coal and others.
