The State Commission on Kumtor will conduct juridical expertise of all agreements between the Kyrgyz Government and Canadian companies
Bishkek, July 16 / Kabar /. The State Commission on Kumtor will conduct juridical examination of all agreements between the Kyrgyz Government and Canadian companies. Minister of Justice of the KR Almambet Shykmamatov told today at a meeting of the state commission to study and verify observance of rules and requirements of the legislation by Kumtor Operating Company.
The Minister heads the working group of the State Commission to conduct legal review of agreements reached in order to implement the Kumtor project. A. Shykmamatov said that all available documentation, starting from the moment of launching of the project will be examined.
Chairman of the Commission Temir Sariev noted the importance of proper and competent examination, which will put a final end to the disputes.
The legal examination will be undertaken for effective use of natural resources and protect the interests of Kyrgyzstan.
