Patricia Flor: "The EU will continue to support Kyrgyzstan in the way of democratic development"
Bishkek, July 26 / Kabar /. The European Union intends to continue to support Kyrgyzstan in the way of democratic development. The EU Special Representative for Central Asia Ambassador Patricia Flor told journalists at Kabar Agency.
According to her opinion, Kyrgyzstan serves as an example in the region of how to make the first steps towards democracy and parliamentary system of government.
"The EU Strategy for Central Asia has been operating for five years and is a good foundation for cooperation. My mission is to further develop relations and cooperation in such fields as economy, education, social development and others", said P. Flor.
Recall that today P.Flor completed his first visit to the CD in the position of the EU Special Representative for Central Asia. In this position she entered July 1, 2012, succeeding Pierre Morel.
The EU Special Representative for Central Asia Ambassador Patricia Flor completed her visit to Bishkek together with her predecessor Ambassador Pierre Morel, as part of an introductory tour to Central Asia, after her appointment to the post on 1 July 2012.
