Victor Denisenko: "Belarus is able to protect any of its embassies"

Bishkek, August 30 / Kabar /. Belarus is able to protect each of its embassy. Belarusian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Viktor Denisenko told today journalists.

Thus, he denied earlier reports that during the protest action in front of the Embassy in Bishkek, diplomats asked the Kyrgyz Interior Ministry for help. "First of all, we are under the protection of the state, which is able to protect any of its embassies, as well as a number of international conventions and treaties.

But we are also grateful to the local police for their timely assistance, but we have not asked for help from law enforcement officers", said V. Denisenko.

He emphasized that the Embassy will insist on giving legal assessment of the incident and to identify the perpetrators and compensation of property damage.

Recall that a protest action was held in front of the building of the Belarusian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, on August 27. The participants threw stones and broke diplomatic mission windows. So, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of reaction of the Belarusian security services to the note of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry to take measures on extradition of Janysh Bakiyev, former head of the State Security Services.
