Bishkek to discuss opening of the UN FAO Country Office
Bishkek, August 30 / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erines Otorbaev met with a delegation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations headed by Mohammed Ruga, Special Advisor to the FAO Director General for Central Asia and Decentralization. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
During the meeting they discussed the priorities of the Organization's work in the country and further activities aimed at enhancing cooperation. In particular, opening of FAO Country Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, the presence of which will allow to use the potential of the organization, which is the leading one in development of agriculture and food security.
