Osh Mayor and UN peacebuilding consultant discussed cooperation issues
Bishkek, May 22 / Kabar /. Mayor of Osh city Melisbek Myrzakmatov met today in the southern capital of Kyrgyzstan with Marl Zapah, the international consultant of the UN Peacebuilding Program.
According to the information of the press service of the Osh Mayor’s Office, during the meeting the sides discussed the activities of international organizations after the events of June 2010. M. Myrzakmatov noted their contribution to stabilization of the situation in the city and providing humanitarian assistance to victims.
The Mayor said that in 2012 the city authorities will continue to cooperate with the UN in close contact.
