Rally in support of MP N. Tuleyev held in Naryn
Bishkek, June 25 / Kabar /. Peaceful rally in support of deputy of Jogorku Kenesh Nariman Tuleyev is held in the central square of Naryn town.
"The rally has finished. There were no provocative and emergency situations. About 500 people took part in the action. The protesters were holding banners "We are for N. Tuleyev", "Youth for N. Tuleyev", "Freedom to N. Tuleyev", sources on the spot report.
The participants demanded to release N. Tuleyev from police detention in Bishkek. Also, the rally organizers collected signatures to address President Almazbek Atambaev and Speaker Asylbek Jeenbekov demanding to release N. Tuleyev and stop the political pressure.
N. Tyuleev was detained on June 23, 2012 by National Security Committee officers and was placed in police detention center in Bishkek, he is accused of corruption.
