The first passenger plane from Istanbul landed at Osh airport
Bishkek, July 19 / Kabar /. The first flight Istanbul -Osh – Istanbul took place on July 19, 2012 at 02:05 am of local time at the Osh international airport. The Aerobus-319/100 of Turkish Airlines with 100 passengers on board landed safely at the specified time. The Turkish delegation of 22 people in the face of Vice President of Turkish Airlines arrived with the same flight, the press service Manas International airport reports.
The official opening of the flight was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, the Agency of Civil Aviation, Osh Mayor’s Office, Osh oblast state administration, Osh international airport, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Turkish Airlines Sezgin Saglam and member of the local city council.
Despite a late flight and light rain the first passengers were greeted with special attention with flowers and honors. A buffet was organized for highest guests at VIP lounge of the airport and a coffee break was organized for passengers at the international departure hall. Further, a press conference was held for journalists.
In a sign of respect, warm welcome and establishment of further partnership relations Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Turkish Airlines Sezgin Saglam presented souvenirs.
After the festivities the Turkish delegation familiarized with the airport and flied back to Istanbul at 4:00 am. 91 passengers were registered to return flight.
