Bishkek to host International exhibition "Unique Journey"
Bishkek, April 9 / Kabar /. International exhibition "Unique Journey" will be held at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Art, April 13.
"Visitors can witness the unique photographs, drawings and watercolor paintings made by four authors during their travel to Central Asia, Turkey, Small and Big Pamir. 108 black and white documentary and archival photographs (1932) by Ella Maillard (Switzerland) show the historical reality of a difficult period - the era of the 30s of XX century. 49 graphic black and white drawings by Malik Kutlu (Turkey) tell about the difficult life of Kyrgyz nomads. Watercolors of Yuristanbek Shygaev (Kyrgyzstan) provide a colorful palette of faces of ancient highlands and 39 color photos of Dao Truong (Switzerland) in 2010 provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the unfamiliar world in remote places of the Small Pamir of Afghanistan", a worker of the museum said.
