A book about Chingiz Aitmatov and his contribution to world literature of XX-XXI centuries published in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, May 30 / Kabar /. A book of famous scientist and literary man Asil Rashidov "The Universe of Chingiz Aitmatov" is published in Uzbekistan.
The book is devoted to the study of literary heritage of the great writer. In 1958 A. Rashidov translated into Uzbek such works of the Kyrgyz writer as "Jamilya" and "Face to Face". Later he translated "The First Teacher", "My poplar in red scarf", "A day lasts longer than a century" and "Gulsarat".
For the first time the results of a 50-year research of Chingiz Aitmatov’s creative work was reflected in the Uzbek scientist’s book "Literary Universe of Chingiz Aitmatov" which was published in 2008 and was timed to the 80th anniversary of the great writer.
The present publication is an updated version of the first one.
