Minister of Agriculture: "There is still no vaccine against foot and mouth disease in Kyrgyzstan"
Bishkek, May 18 / Kabar /. "There is still no vaccine against foot and mouth disease in Kyrgyzstan", Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic Askarbek Janybekov said at a parliamentary hearing on the condition of the State Veterinary Service at the moment and its prospects.
He said that a vaccine against foot and mouth disease comes mainly from Russia and India.
"At present delivery of vaccine is stopped, therefore vaccination of cattle is also stopped", Janybek Sarbakov head of the Kara-Buura veterinary department said.
