Meeting-requiem in memory of victims of the June 2010 events held in Bishkek
Bishkek, June 11 / Kabar /. A meeting -requiem dedicated to the 2nd anniversary of the tragic events of June 2010 is held in Bishkek on Saturday, June 10.
The event was attended by Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov, ex-president Roza Otunbayeva, members of the Government and the public.
The victims of the tragic events were honored by minute of silence.
On June 10, 2010 mass clashes between two ethnic groups started in Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts. About 500 people became victims of clashes, which lasted four days, more than two thousand were wounded.
