UN WFP to help to improve feeding at primary schools in Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek, June 14 / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Gulnara Asymbekova today met with representatives of the United Nations World Food Programme in the KR headed by director Rasmus Egendal.
During the meeting G. Asymbekova thanked the WFP for the rendered food aid to vulnerable families of the country. She highly appreciated the role of WFP in preventing food crisis after the events of June 2010, the Department of Information Policy of the Government of the KR reports.
The Vice Prime Minister drew the attention of WFP representatives to the current situation in the field of feeding at primary schools of the republic.
R. Egendal noted that WFP is interested in providing this assistance.
