Women prisoners in Kyrgyzstan will sew clothes for the Customs Service

Bishkek, July 18 / Kabar /. Women prisoners in Kyrgyzstan will sew clothes for the Customs Service. Chairman of the State Service for Punishment Execution of the KR Alikbek Mamyrkulov said today at the opening of the production shop in the women's prison # 2 in Stepnoye village.  

"The opening of the workshop will allow us to provide our wards with work by 100%. We have already received an order from the Customs Service for sewing uniforms in the amount of 2500 units. I think we will find our customers quickly", said A. Mamyrkulov. 

Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Gulnara Asymbekova noted that money for construction was allocated within the framework of the European Union and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime project “Support to Prison Reform in the KR”.
