142 people suffered from food poisoning at Kumtor mine, Chief Medical Officer
Bishkek, July 23 / Kabar /. State Inspectorate for Sanitary, Veterinary, Phytosanitary Security under the Government of Kyrgyzstan specified the number of victims, poisoned from food products at Kumtor gold-mine in Issyk-Kul oblast.
Chief Medical Officer of Kyrgyzstan Tolo Isakov told reporters today that 142 suffered as a result of eating food by workers a the Kumtor Operating Company. "83 patients are in-patient treatment, three of them are in the Republican Hospital, the others are in the regional hospitals of Issyk-Kul oblast, "said T. Isakov.
"Tests have shown that all the food products of the dinner are infected with staphylococcus", said the chief medical officer of the republic T. Isakov.
