Kyrgyzstan hosts the 68th meeting of the Council of Commanders of CIS Border Troops
Bishkek, August 30 / Kabar /. The 68th meeting of the Council of Commanders of CIS Border Troops will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
According to information of the Public Relations Department of Border Troops of Kyrgyzstan, the meeting will be held on September 5, 2012 in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul oblast.
The meeting will be attended by delegations from all the border agencies of the Commonwealth as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre and EurAsEC.
Participants of the 68th meeting of the Council of Commanders of CIS Border Troops will discuss issues related to counter cross-border crime, practical measures to establish a mechanism for the exchange of information on combating terrorism, extremism and other illegal activities at the external borders of the CIS.
